A New Mobile Payment Gateway (Google Tez) is on the cards for Smartphone Users

Google has launched Digital Mobile payment App called Google Tez, in India. Goggle Tez serves as a Secured Mobile Payment service. The payment service allows users to transfer money via their bank accounts as well as Unified Payments Interface (UPI) ID, QR code and phone number. Google Tez is a stand-alone application which is available for both Android and iOS.

Google will be holding an event at Delhi to brief its feature 18th sep(today) and it is on the same day morning Google Tez was launched. But the details about the app is already being available to the users.

Directly pay money from your bank

With Google Tez you can pay directly from your bank account and no need to create a new wallet or separate account. Since you pay directly from your bank your money is safe and that you earn interest. Tez works with all Major Banks including its partners: Axis, HDFC Bank, ICCI and State Bank of India.

Secured Payment with Tez Shield

Tez Shield serves to help detect fraud, prevent hacking and verify user identity. So comes the security for our money paid through Tez App. Your Each transaction is secured with UPI PIN and the app is secured with a Google PIN or your screen lock method like a fingerprint. Pay Nearby:

By using cash mode, A Tez user can pay to another nearby Tez user without furnishing private details like bank account number or phone number. Now you can transact with the simplicity of cash, but with added security.

Installation & Working of Google Tez:

First you will download Google Tez app from the Google Play Store or Apple App store.

Steps followed in the payment process:

Step 1: Select language to get started because the app supports different languages such as English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu,

Step 2: Next, the user enters the phone number and the phone number links to your bank account.

Step 3: Choose your google account to get Notification, Alerts and verification

Step 4: As Google Tez supports App lock feature user has to provide an App lock of his/her choice for the security reasons.

 

Step 5: Now you have reached the prime home screen now you can make payment via UPI then select your bank account number.  Also, you can link your bank account number by providing basic bank details such as account number and IFSC code, as you would do for internet banking or mobile banking.
